Sid Ander and Herbert Picou who are co-chairpersons, have recently
\nsubmitted their bidding to the Board of the Deaf Seniors of America
\n(DSA) for Dallas against the Chicago group’s competition for the 2011
\nDSA convention. <\/p>\n
The selection of site will be announced by the DSA Board in the
\nmiddle of February, this year. <\/p>\n
Should Dallas win, the Gaylord Texan Resort of Grapevine, Texas, one
\nof the largest hotels in Texas, will be a headquarters for the
\nnational convention. It may draw at least 2,000 deaf and hard of
\nhearing attendees. The hotel staff is very exciting to have this big
\nevent for the deaf seniors organization. <\/p>\n
While the DSA board’s review of the Dallas and Chicago biddings, Sid
\nand Herb are seeking the volunteers to fill in the categories of
\ncoordinations, like registration, exhibition, tour, and so forth. The
\nvolunteers have to be 55 years old and up. If interesting, please
\ncontact them.<\/p>\n
