Citywide had another successful meeting last weekend. Tom M. gave<\/span> a great talk, sharing his experience of getting sober young at 19 and eventually becoming a lawyer by listening to a sponsor, following directions, and working the steps. The pot luck was awesome with more of and the best food yet. Thank you to all who brought so much! We still had over 325 in attendance even though many were tied up with Mother’s Day and other commitments.<\/p>\n

While the volunteers that worked this weekend did a great job, they worked way too hard! We still need more help. Specifically, in the Kitchen with Food Prep and Clean Up. If you are able and willing, we need both leaderships (Head Cook) and several bottle washers. These roles are for the humble but strong in spirit. Yes, that means you;)<\/strong><\/p>\n
