Texas Foreign Language Association (TFLA) Early bird registration was a total of $160 to $210 (not Including membership). This includes only two lunches and a reception. Texas Society of Interpreters for the Deaf (TSID) Early bird was $195 to $225 for members and $250 to $335 for non-members. This includes a reception and only two meals (lunch and banquet).<\/p>\n

* Letter from the Allen ISD Director of Staff Development and Curriculum (requesting the release from teaching for professional growth) On the DFW-ASLTA website, see the letter explaining the value of this mini conference for professional growth. You can share this letter with your department chair, principal, or professional growth\/development coordinator as it will help them justify the time release from your class. As each campus policy may be different, find out and follow their procedure for arrangements. The sooner you make the request, the easier it is to get approved. ! INFORMATION ON CEU AND CPE<\/p>\n

* CEU \/ CPE FEES for TEACHERS from UTA Division for Enterprise Development\/ Department of Continuing Education The CEU\/CPE fee ($23) is separate from the registration and goes directly to UTA Dept. of<\/span><\/span><\/span> Continuing Education. Upon completion of the 12 hours of participation, a certificate will be sent to you at your address that you provided on your form. ! ? CEU \/ CPE FEES for INTERPRETERS The Texas Society of Interpreters for the Deaf (TSID) CEU does not charge any fee for certification. Upon completion of the 12 hours of participation, a certificate will be presented. ! The DARS\/DHHS Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) CEU does not charge any fee for certification.
