Hello! We are excited to inform you about our Deaf Awareness Week, September 24th-27th! We have different activities and guest speakers during the whole week! We are excited to tell you that our two special guest stars are CJ Jones and Amber Galloway Gallego, who is well-known throughout the Deaf Community across the nation. Admission is free and the times and locations of the events can be found on the flyer.<\/p>\n

\u201cMusic is Not Just A Hearing Thing!\u201d
\n7:00-10:00 pm
\nWhere: *Student Setzer Ballroom
\nAmber Galloway Gallego, the presenter is well-known across the Deaf community. She interpreted for over 300 different music concerts. She was a guest star<\/span> in multiple TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Show.<\/p>\n

Movie Night
\n\u201cLake Windfall\u201d
\n7:00-10:00 pm
\nWhere: *Science Auditorium
\nThere will be free popcorn and drinks. \u201cLake Windfall\u201d is told in American Sign Language by Deaf actors. English subtitles will be provided.<\/p>\n

\u201cCJ Jones Live\u201d
\n7:00-9:00 pm
\nWhere: *Science Auditorium
\nCJ Jones is a famous Black Deaf Comedian, who<\/span> starred in multiple of movies such as \u201cThrough Deaf Eyes\u201d and \u201cSee What I\u2019m Saying\u201d and he tours across the world giving performances.<\/p>\n

All presentations are in Sign Language and English voice interpreters will be provided.<\/p>\n
