In the 2014-15 school year, 29 Connections Academy virtual public schools will operate in 26 states and expect to serve more than 50,000 students in grades K-12 (some schools do not serve all grades) from across the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The Connections Learning division meets the needs of schools, school districts, and other institutions looking to develop and enhance their online learning programs. More than 300 schools, school districts, state departments of education and other educational institutions, serving tens of thousands of students throughout the U.S. <span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"50388725-e72d-430d-86e2-2c57c2924e12\"><span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"d3a6f6c3-af33-4c69-9444-a7a9979bf9d7\"><span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"ae04562f-4ea0-45cd-8390-bedb5008b35c\">and<\/span><\/span><\/span> beyond, are already utilizing Connections Learning products and services.<\/p>\n<p>Indiana Connections Academy @ Indianapolis is a tuition-free online public school that serves students in grades K-12 from anywhere in Indiana.<\/p>\n<p>Position Summary and Responsibilities:<br \/>\nWorking out of their home, the Adjunct Teacher will \u201cvirtually\u201d manage subject-specific instructional programs. Compensation will be based on the specific course workload and <span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"abd746e0-1a04-41b5-b2e6-555c66e602e6\"><span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"167b5e3f-0892-4be1-a948-746f8d392499\"><span class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\" id=\"80e253ac-1ee3-4d1c-86ba-0387f119d49b\">number<\/span><\/span><\/span> of enrolled students. He\/she will be responsible for monitoring progress, evaluating work, running online instructional\/tutorial sessions, providing academic guidance, and being the subject-matter expert for a caseload of middle\/high school students. The Teacher must be able to complete work related responsibilities through a combination of regular office hours during the school day in conjunctions with hours scheduled outside the normal school day.
