The Specialist<br \/>\nwill assist state and local governments, or-ganizations, and private<br \/>\nentities in making their services accessible and readilyavailable to<br \/>\nindividuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Also responsible for<br \/>\nad-dressing attitudinal and cultural barriers of the target<br \/>\npopulation which may hindersuccessful service delivery.
