ABC ASL is thrilled to announce the Austin premiere of Beyond the Embers, the first in a film series from ASL Films. This exciting red-carpet event will be held on September 12, 2014, starting at 5 pm & 8 pm at the Dougherty Arts Center. All net proceeds will benefit ABC ASL in collaboration with Dell Children\u2019s Medical Center.<\/p>\n

Beyond the Embers, filmed in Austin, is an anthology of four short, but bizarre, tales loosely entwined with a hair-raising central storyline. The fine line between truth and tale blurs as the characters uncover the ultimate discovery. ASL Films, a Deaf-owned company, is known for its full-length feature films that have played in hundreds of cities and numerous countries. This premiere is even more exciting given that ASL Films, an award-winning film company is based in Austin.<\/p>\n
