Average Salary $41,000)<\/p>\n<p>Description of Services<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <span id=\"4a351448-3ab5-489e-b4c8-ad7336ed7279\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">writing<\/span> r\u00e9sum\u00e9s and proposals to assist in placement;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"61c3ba25-e264-4965-9d26-f3090391a0ec\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">contacting<\/span> employers from target lists and developing consumer jobs;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"36b54c00-6875-4142-8f4b-3b9b6bab5222\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">performing<\/span> a job analysis;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"f0dbedb5-990a-4031-b539-ba40ef593dd0\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">reviewing<\/span> job match information;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"e248e176-4e4c-4024-9e77-43dd81c8bbdd\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">assisting<\/span> the consumer with job applications, pre-employment forms, practice interviews, and pre-employment testing or physicals;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"e207abc4-68ae-42d9-9fdb-fdef87b1c90b\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">accompanying<\/span> the consumer to interviews and company visits;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"e658efe3-264a-4441-912f-1661a265c9b9\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">assisting<\/span> the employer with the Work Opportunity Tax Credit; and<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"e60ddb94-868c-415c-8c81-73e92915ecac\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">training<\/span> the consumer to travel to and from the job.<\/p>\n<p>The Employment Specialist for the Deaf must have:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Proficiency in American Sign Language<br \/>\n\u2022 Basic Understanding of Deaf Culture<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience working with people with hearing loss<br \/>\n\u2022 Business acumen to succeed in a commission-only 1099 position<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong business development skills for creating new employer relationships<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Crisis management skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Good Driving Record<br \/>\n\u2022 Clean Criminal Background<\/p>\n<p>Job Coach for the Deaf ($15-$20 per hour)<\/p>\n<p>Description of Services<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Train applicants and consumers to use public transportation services or other means of transportation to help applicants and consumers access services and employment.<br \/>\n\u2022 Work side-by-side with a newly placed consumer at a job site.<br \/>\n\u2022 Analyze the job, and break into manageable components.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify and solve problems before they become crises for the consumer, employer, or co-worker.<br \/>\n\u2022 Teach effective job keeping skills to the consumer.<br \/>\n\u2022 Use the least intrusive methods possible on the job.<br \/>\n\u2022 Gradually reduce the time spent <span id=\"87d9cc3b-585c-423c-8f3b-54475a6298c0\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">at<\/span> the job site as the consumer becomes better adjusted and more independent.<\/p>\n<p>The Job Coach Providers for the Deaf must have:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Proficiency in American Sign Language<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"0d3b6268-0542-44dd-af02-0fa87506dc2f\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">a<\/span> high school diploma or GED;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"30731fc8-9b12-4c1a-a232-bdacf24a7b94\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">a<\/span> varied and successful work history;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"3290a879-cfc9-484b-b4c2-304054c27c89\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">considerable<\/span> knowledge of employer expectations;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"2f550bdb-793d-4e42-9c7b-242c895a34d9\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">the<\/span> ability to work successfully with a wide variety of consumers and employers;<br \/>\n\u2022 <span id=\"7cc69b57-c357-43ee-8a55-d0a5b71fc65d\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">the<\/span> ability to analyze a job and reduce it to manageable components<br \/>\n\u2022 Clean Criminal Background<\/p>\n<p>Please send resume to olivia.sturgess@jobfindersllc.com<\/p>\n<p>Division Manager, Deaf &amp;
