The transcript must show the awarded degree and the date conferred (if completed).<br \/>\n<span id=\"a2681f7e-28dc-4b3f-a7dd-19d927d0cc50\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">between<\/span> the hearing-impaired and the non-hearing impaired.<\/p>\n<p>Understanding of a person with deafness preferred form of communication. Show interest, enthusiasm, empathy, and a desire to help others. Must have good interpersonal skills and must be able to communicate effectively both written and <span id=\"49a84d70-ca3b-413f-a140-314afe554946\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">orally<\/span>. The interpreter will assist with the following functions:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Interpret or transliterate spoken, written and signed information <span id=\"d74157ae-6028-4c73-b2d3-6f2966aea035\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\"><span id=\"11a9be4e-d8cf-4914-ac7e-e03969b6bae8\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">into<\/span><\/span> American Sign<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Function as Interpreter in self-paced instructional area when designated.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Prepare for class through study of instructional materials and devote office time to<\/p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Language and Signed English in any TSTC instructional situation, lab, recreational activity,\u00a0field trip, registration, tour and selected emergency and administrative setting.\u00a0<span id=\"1326366e-ced7-40fc-a0a5-924798278064\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\"><span id=\"75a5d7a8-22c3-453c-a50c-e8df18eb6415\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">increasing<\/span><\/span> sign vocabulary, improving American Sign Language interpreting techniques, and\u00a0learning specific technical signs.<\/p>\n<p>Minimal Hazard\/Exposure: Possibility of interpreting outside the conventional classroom\u00a0setting as <span id=\"e3d1c024-9e88-40fe-898d-07ccb0116169\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\"><span id=\"0c5246d3-d3f5-44f4-b61f-f851a0456905\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">interpreter<\/span><\/span> may be <span id=\"6f7a23bd-b787-4113-b71f-a524327ab9bb\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\"><span id=\"ec6ba168-8174-475c-8f38-c850146deb85\" class=\"GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark\">interpreting<\/span><\/span> outside. Occasional field trips for College or program\u00a0activities.
