Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deaf Action Center (DAC) in Dallas, Texas. She was born in Irving on June 13, 1938, to the late Henry and Donia Ivey. Delia graduated from Texas School for the Deaf School in 1957. She loved to crochet, she loved sports and could frequently be found watching a Dallas Cowboys football game. She worked for JC Penney for 16 years as a drapery seamstress and retired at the age of 55.<\/p>\n<p>She was active in the Deaf Action Center Senior Citizens program. She touched a lot of people&#8217;s lives and always had a smile on her face. Survivors: Delia is survived by her sisters, Jo Hargus and Kay Miller (and preceded in death by Malcom Ivey and Betty Harris); three children, Nelda Ellerbee, Johnny Harris and wife, Mary, and Debbie Flink and husband, Joe.
