The answer you most likely will get is: \u201cit depends\u201d. How to get around this answer and make an appropriate response? In this webinar, you will learn a number of factors to help determine if an interpreter is qualified for any particular assignment. The webinar participants will take into account federal, state and agency policies that define the term \u201cqualified.\u201d Join us to review these definitions and to learn what interpreter competencies are needed to ensure effective communication for the community we serve.<\/p>\n<p>This session is geared to educational interpreters K-12.<\/p>\n<p>PRESENTER<\/p>\n<p>Randi Turner, Communication Access Specialist<br \/>\nDARS Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services<\/p>\n<p>EARNING CEUs<\/p>\n<p>The webinar system will monitor your attendance. You will be asked questions during the webinar, it is important to engage in the webinar to receive CEU credit.
