Tommie Elizabeth Hill, age 82, of Austin passed away Wednesday,
\nFebruary 06, 2008. She was a lifetime resident of Austin, Texas and
\nvery active with her church and the deaf community.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy B. Hill; and
\ndaughter, Peggy Lois Lozano. <\/p>\n
Tommie is survived by her daughters, Marsha Whitley and husband Carl,
\nDebbie Sherwood and husband Larry; brothers, Eugene G. Johnson and
\nwife Zelma, Richard L. Johnson and wife Nelda, Pete Johnson and wife
\nCaroline; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. <\/p>\n
The family would like to express sincere heartfelt thanks to the
\nstaff at St. David’s Hospital, 4 west. <\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to “The
\nMinistry for the Deaf at Christian Life Church.” <\/p>\n
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, February 8,
\n2008 at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00
\npm on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Christian Life Church. Interment
\nwill follow at Austin Memorial Park. <\/p>\n
