Hello everyone,<\/p>\n
We’re excited to host our first annual Deaf & Hard of Hearing Fest this Saturday, September 9th from 10-5 PM.
\nWe guarantee that it\u2019s going to be a memorable festival because we are going to make sure that you have a blast! We will provide various activities for adults and children. There will be fun activities, arts & crafts, entertainment shows, a talent contest, and a kiddie\u2019s korner (clown, games, moonwalk, and fun activities for the kids). There will be at least 40 booths represented by different agencies, organizations, corporations and vendors. It\u2019s a good way to find out more about deaf services available in town. This event is FREE so come on over and join the fun with us!<\/p>\n
Please keep in mind that\u2026
\nPets are not allowed.
\nYou may bring your own water.
\nAlcoholic drinks are not allowed.
\nThere is a building that has air-conditioning.
\nThere is plenty of shade. Be sure to bring your lawn chair.
\nInterpreters will be provided.<\/p>\n

10:15- Jimmy Turner-audience participation encouraged<\/p>\n
11:00-Mindy Moore and Theron Parker<\/p>\n
11:30-“Frog’s Wacky Life like Yours!” by Franky Ramont-under the tree in the Kiddie Korner<\/p>\n
11:30- music on the main stage provided by Deaf United Entertainment<\/p>\n
12:30-Talent Show Contest (Be sure to sign up before 12 PM if you want to participate.)<\/p>\n
2:00-Deaf Act, Inc<\/p>\n
2:30-“Franky’s Artistic Poetry” by Franky Ramont<\/p>\n
3:00-Talent Show results and door prizes<\/p>\n
3:30-GHE musical performance<\/p>\n
4:00-music provided by Deaf United Entertainment<\/p>\n
