Customers can now add Scan Mailboxes’ icon to their phone’s home screen for quicker and easier access to their online mailbox account. When new customers sign up, they can either create their own private mailbox number (if it is available) or have one randomly assigned. The owners of Scan Mailboxes believe that customers should make their own choices.<\/p>\n

Eight months ago, Scan Mailboxes officially launched in Austin, TX and has been satisfying customers from all over the world ever since. This online postal service also added some new features, which is now much better and user-intuitive. Customers can finally open, forward, scan, and shred their mail from any mobile device; they can even deposit checks. Customers are already raving about this.<\/p>\n

If you are traveling or temporarily assigned overseas for one to six months, Scan Mailboxes offers a unique Temporary Mailbox Service to US residents. This service utilizes US Post Office temporary change-of-address service to redirect customers’ mail to Scan Mailboxes in Austin, TX. This service allows customers to keep their current mailing address. When they return from their travels and temporary mailbox service ends, the mail will start flowing back to their home. This service offers a secure, reliable alternative to leaving mail in the hands of a neighbor or local post office.<\/p>\n

Traditionally, the post office can hold your parcels for up to 30 days and when you pick them up, you may have missed some important mail.<\/p>\n
