A 1950s-style Cocktail Party,\u00a0complete with music, merriment, and martinis!<\/p>\n

Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 6\u20139 pm<\/p>\n

Come enjoy this fun-filled 50s-style evening, including hors d\u2019oeuvres prepared by the TSD Culinary Arts students and savory desserts prepared by Princesses and Moose\u2019s Sister Bakery. Event sponsors, Enchanted Rock Vodka and Rebecca Creek Distillery, will provide the cocktails, including martinis and old-fashioneds!<\/p>\n

In addition to cocktails, hors d\u2019oeuvres, and desserts, guests will be treated to the beautiful vocals of Bridget Skaggs (a member of the Fourth Coast Assemble, who has performed in numerous operas and musical theater productions), and an informative presentation from architect Jay Farrell on the architectural significance of the Granger House and The Perch. Built by Austinite Charles Granger, The Granger House (1952) and The Perch (1945) feature a distinctive boxy, mid-century modern style and are on the National Register of Historic Places and recorded as Texas and City of Austin Historic Landmarks.<\/p>\n
