VSA arts of Texas is pleased to announce the first in a series of
\nworkshops on self-supporting employment opportunities for people with
\ndisabilities. This workshop is designed for artists or anyone with a
\ndisability trying to go to work or start a business. Individuals with
\ndisabilities, family members, advocates, DARS Counselors, and private
\nrehabilitation and community service organizations are invited to
\nattend. Get answers to the following questions: <\/p>\n
* What are disability benefits? <\/p>\n
* What is the definition of disability? <\/p>\n
* What are the eligibility requirements? <\/p>\n
* What happens when you go to work or start a business? <\/p>\n
This workshop will be led by Daniel Scarborough of the National PASS
\nNetwork. Mr. Scarborough brings more than 25 years of grassroots
\ndisability benefit advocacy to this powerful workshop. <\/p>\n
