This year’s Deaf, Deaf World includes two events, both on Saturday, April 18, 2015:<\/p>\n

DEAF, DEAF WORLD: A SIMULATION OF DEAF CULTURE
\n– SCC’s Living Legends Conference Center
\n– 1:00-5:00 PM
\n– Free of charge
\n– Event includes:
\n* Experience life in an entirely deaf environment
\n* Become familiar with deaf history and experiences
\n* Learn about civil rights for the deaf community
\n* Learn some American Sign Language
\n* Enjoy Deaf theater and an ASL slam
\n* Discuss advocacy and interpreting
\n* Meet community vendors<\/p>\n

SILENT DINNER & ENTERTAINMENT
\n– SCC’s Living Legends Conference Center
\n– 6:00-9:15 PM
\n– Charge for dinner and entertainment (TBA)
