H.A.D.’s Announcement for April 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n

Houston Association of the Deaf is giving out draw for two Sean Forbes Tickets along with 2 VIP this coming Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the H.A.D.’s general monthly meeting at Metropolitan Multi-Service Center (MMSC) on 1475 West Gray, Houston, Texas 77019 at 1:30PM.<\/p>\n

Come on out to be the lucky winners! If you are not a member, that’s okay because when you get to the meeting. Please be there to pay for your membership to be able to enter the draw.<\/p>\n

Houston Association of the Deaf is proud to host its first ever “Open Stage ASL Performance,” for all ages. Sean Forbes is Deaf and well known for hip-hop artist, rapper and dancer. He will be in Houston next Saturday, April 25th, 2015 and will also perform at Lone Star College- North Harris campus on 2700 W.W. Throne, Houston, Texas.<\/p>\n

We will have an ASL talent show, silent auction, prizes and much more. Don’t miss this out. It is a family friendly event!!<\/p>\n

If you cannot make it to the meeting, then you can buy your ticket online at https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/community-asl-performances-open-stage-and-sean-forbes-concert-tickets-16147178646<\/a>. But it is not guaranteed if we will sell tickets at the door if it’s SOLD OUT. We strongly urge you to buy today.<\/p>\n

In Houston, many Deaf people long for a safe gathering place to celebrate our culture through the sharing of visual arts, language arts, and community events. There are others that struggle to find support services for basic needs that are not readily available locally. Thus, we have started our building fund with the objective of providing them such a place. From this new building, Houston Association for the Deaf will build a strong foundation for Deaf families to flourish as contributing members of society. Through sponsoring our event, generous donors like you will help the Deaf community achieve this goal. We hope that we can count on your support. Come out and have fun and SIGN on!!!!<\/p>\n
