SUPPORT TEXAS SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF\u2019S STUDENTS WITH MULTIPLE DISABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Austin, Texas \u2013 May 2, 2015 Tonight, at Joe\u2019s Crab Shack – 600 East Riverside Drive, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, is the 7th Annual SND Rocks live music benefit for Texas School for the Deaf\u2019s (TSD) students with special needs (SND).<\/p>\n

Thanks to the Joe\u2019s Crab Shack, it couldn\u2019t easier to make a contribution some of TSD\u2019s students who need it most.<\/p>\n

Joe\u2019s is donating a portion of your check to the cause when you present a SND Rocks flyer to your server. Please visit: http:\/\/www.tsd.state.tx.us\/SNDRocks<\/a> to print your flyer, in color or black and white.<\/p>\n

Tonight\u2019s lineup features, headliner – Shine, with special guests – After These Messages, The Swingin Johnson Brothers Band, and Tish & MizzBeHavin\u2019 Band. NO COVER. This is a family-friendly event; all ages welcome.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s event committee has been working hard and invites everyone to out to enjoy great music in support of a very worthy cause, along with a great silent auction of items from many favorite local and central Texas-area businesses.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis event supports our \u2018fighters and survivors\u2019 \u2013 our students with special needs at TSD \u2013 and is a really special event to me,\u201d says Robert Solis. Solis is assistant principal at TSD, and one of the musicians playing tonight.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks to the hard work of our committee, says Solis, we have great event in store and we are grateful to everyone that helps us make this such a success year after year.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to school principal, Jan Reed-Anderson, event proceeds will provide classroom materials and equipment for TSD\u2019s most vulnerable special needs students.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re continue to be so proud of our students\u2019 achievements, says Reed-Anderson. With additional technology and equipment for our students and classrooms, we\u2019ll have at our fingertips, tools that are critical for our students needing extra, individualized support.<\/p>\n

This is our 7th annual event, she adds, and it will be the best ever! We have excellent music lined up and amazing goods and services up for grabs in the silent auction.<\/p>\n
