Australian Sign Language interpreters Wanted<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello Texas Deaf Network,<\/p>\n

The Australian Team will visit San Antonio for the 2015 World Deaf Swimming Championships in August 2015.<\/p>\n

Do you have or know any interpreters with International Sign Language accreditation or experience?<\/p>\n

Would they be willing to volunteer and interpret at the Australian Team meetings? Perhaps an hour each day from 12 August to 22 August, 2015<\/p>\n

One of our Australian team members is a sign language user (Auslan \u2013 Australian Sign Language). I am sure she would pick up international signs quickly because she is from a deaf family.<\/p>\n

I am just making enquiries because I am exploring best ways to accommodate the team\u2019s communication needs at team meetings.<\/p>\n

If there are none in Texas, do you have any contacts of any international sign language interpreters who may be interested to volunteer and assist?<\/p>\n
