35th Annual Easter Sunrise Service On The Mound<\/p>\n
This year the 35th Annual Easter Sunrise Service will be Sunday March
\n23 starting at 07:00 am. (Sunrise is at 07:28 am.) <\/p>\n
On behalf of the Summit Club, the Women of Flower Mound, and the
\nMound Foundation, we want to invite everyone to the Service. The
\nMound is located near the intersection of FM 3040 & FM 2499. Parking
\nwill be in the Tom Thumb parking lot. <\/p>\n
Because of the nature of native prairie grasslands, comfortable
\nclothing is recommended over your Sunday best. <\/p>\n
A short service will be presented ending with a dramatic sunrise. <\/p>\n
TheMound is an 11+acre native prairie grassland that rises above the
\nsurrounding area. It makes a dramatic backdrop for the Service. Over
\n300 species of native flowers have been identified on The Mound. <\/p>\n
Light refreshments and coffee are being provided by local merchants,
\nand will be available after the services. <\/p>\n
Event will be interpreted. <\/p>\n
