Introduction to Oral Interpreting \/ Transliterating by Peggy Taylor<\/strong><\/p>\n

Learn the history of oral deaf and speech production, and why \u201coral interpreting \/ transliterating\u201d is needed in certain environments. Hands on training! Learn techniques used to support speech productions and speech readers who utilize oral interpreters. Individuals will leave with knowledge and skills necessary to become BEI or RID Oral Certified.<\/p>\n

TASBID’s Annual Fall Workshop is September 25-26, 2015<\/strong> at Highland Lakes Camp & Conference Center, Spicewood, Texas<\/p>\n

Registration includes 1.0 CEU’s (RID Approved \/ DARS\/BEI pending), lodging, meals (Special Diets cannot be accommodated).<\/p>\n

Medical release required for each attendee.<\/p>\n

Friday Session: 7 \u2013 10 pm <\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday Session: 8 am \u2013 4 pm <\/strong><\/p>\n

1.0 BEI CEUs Pending Certificates distributed at the end of the workshop for attendees. Cost of workshop includes 1 night lodging and 3 meals. Special diets cannot be accommodated.<\/p>\n

Return registration form and medial release with payment before September 12, 2015. If sharing a room, send all registration paperwork together. Confirmation acknowledgement will be sent via email on registration (print clearly).<\/p>\n
