{"id":31715,"date":"2015-08-27T15:19:58","date_gmt":"2015-08-27T20:19:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deafnetwork.com\/wordpress\/?p=31715"},"modified":"2015-08-27T15:19:58","modified_gmt":"2015-08-27T20:19:58","slug":"san-antonio-couple-killed-in-tragic-car-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deafnetwork.com\/wordpress\/blog\/2015\/08\/27\/san-antonio-couple-killed-in-tragic-car-accident\/","title":{"rendered":"San Antonio couple killed in tragic car accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>San Antonio couple killed in tragic car accident<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>August 25 2015<\/p>\n<p>BY AMANDA WEBER<\/p>\n<p>Fox San Antonio<\/p>\n<p>SAN ANTONIO-William and Linda Willis were always together and their love was contagious.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A lot of love, a lot of wanting to help, just really a sense of family,\u201d says, Kevin Willis, Son.<\/p>\n<p>The couple was killed along with Linda\u2019s mother and stepfather in a car accident in Iowa on August 14th.<\/p>\n<p>The Willis&#8217; were volunteers with meals on wheels in San Antonio through their church and Linda had a passion for the deaf. She worked three days a week at deaf interpreter services here in San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Friday that she left on vacation, she came into my office and was talking and she said, I will see you Monday. She signed all the time,\u201d says, Marilyn Weber, Deaf Interpreter Services, CEO<\/p>\n<p>They were in Iowa visiting family, they hadn&#8217;t seen for a long time. Soon after the crash, Kevin says he was told that visit was a memorable One, and they left this earth with very content hearts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At that moment, family being so important, and the way the circumstances happened in the accident, there was no suffering, according the reports it was instant, they went together, they went as a family,\u201d says, Kevin Willis, Son.<\/p>\n<p>William served 37 years as a civil servant in the Air Force.
