Deaf Women – Participation Needed for Research<\/p>\n
My name is Stephanie Logan and I am a deaf doctoral candidate at the
\nUniversity of Missouri in Counseling Psychology. <\/p>\n
I am conducting a study on the coping strategies of deaf and hard of
\nhearing women who have had any unwanted sexual experiences (anytime in
\ntheir lifetime). This study is important because very little research
\nhas been conducted in this area for deaf and hard of hearing women. <\/p>\n
Participation will require completing a brief (approximately 20
\nminutes) anonymous online questionnaire. <\/p>\n
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. Participation in
\nthis study is confidential. <\/p>\n
This research has been fully approved through the Institutional
\nReview Board (IRB) at the University of Missouri. <\/p>\n
If you are a deaf or hard of hearing woman who has experienced an
\nunwanted sexual experience in your lifetime and you agree to
