NAD Partners with the IRS to Share Important Information <\/p>\n
Silver Spring, MD \u00e2\u20ac\u201c The National Association of the Deaf (NAD)
\nannounced that it has partnered with the Internal Revenue Service
\n(IRS) to make sure important information reaches the deaf community.
\nThe IRS produced three pilot videos, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Economic Stimulus Payment
\nBasics\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, in American Sign Language (ASL) along with an English
\ntranscript of the content. These pilot videos are available on the NAD
\nwebsite. <\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153This is the first time that the IRS has produced Public Service
\nAnnouncement (PSA) videos in ASL with an English transcript,” said
\nNancy J. Bloch, NAD Chief Executive Officer. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We are delighted to
