Conversational Sign Language I<\/strong>
\nAn introduction to sign language, Fingerspelling, and numbers. Provides basic Functional communication skills with individual who are deaf (16 hrs.)<\/p>\n

Conversational Sign Language II<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Course builds on the skills from Basic Conversational Sign Language I in the Workplace. Developmental of basic conversational skills through practice designed to improve communication with clients\/co-workers who are deaf. Expand the use of ASL linguistic features and gain cultural awareness n the Deaf Community.<\/p>\n

PREREQUISITES: To participate, student must have completed the Basic Conversational I in the workplace or one semester of Beginning sign Language course.<\/p>\n

Supplies: Textbook required \u2013 A Basic Course in American Sign Language ( 2nd ed)<\/p>\n
