Join Amber and Dr. Gallego for this informative LQBTQIA training. They will help you increase your ability to build and sustain inclusive environments for LGBTQIA people. As interpreters we are a natural allies of our clients. This training builds on that behavior and teaches us how we can make durable, sustainable change in our communities by being proactive bystanders, recognizing a wide array of homophobia in our own lives, and reflecting on our power and privilege. You will also learn about what gender is and how we express it in our daily lives. You\u2019ll leave this workshop with a toolkit of how to make your community space more inclusive of a variety of gender identities and expressions.<\/p>\n

TSID is an Approved RID CMP Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This Professional Studies program is approved for.30 CEUs at the \u201cLittle Content Knowledge Level\u201d for all interpreter levels.<\/p>\n
