Executive Director position available <\/strong>at Governor’s Committee on People with Disabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Angi English, the former Executive Director of the Governor’s Committee on People with Disabilities, recently accepted another position with the State Office of Risk Management. Under her leadership with the Governor’s Committee, she worked to raise awareness of disability issues, networked with other disability organizations, and researched issues that impact Texans with disabilities, using the accumulated information to compile suggested legislation.<\/p>\n

We all wish Angi well in her next job, and we hope to be able to fill the Executive Director position at GCPD as soon as possible to keep our work and projects going. Please help us with outreach to find the perfect person for the position – someone with the appropriate background, knowledge and qualifications.
