Carol’s neighbor had befriended Fella with food and water and gentleness and has earned his trust. He was the only person that Fella trusted for a long time but without a collar and leash he was unwilling to get into a car to go to the vet – until now. With Carol’s help, the two neighbors have been successful in getting Fella to the vet to have him looked over and to have a safe place to stay until he can find a foster home or permanent home.

Fella is a bit skittish but does warm up to you once he realizes he can trust you. Once he knows you, he’ll even “shake hands” with you! He also loves to play with other dogs! Fella wants so much to be part of a family but he just hasn’t been given the opportunity.

Unfortunately, neither Carol nor her neighbor can adopt or foster Fella so they are seeking your help. Carol’s dog does not get along with male dogs and her neighbor travels too much.

If you or someone you know may be willing to open up your home to a homeless Fella, then please contact Carol directly at celm@ix.netcom.com or (713) 515-6649 or (281) 633-0796. Your help in posting the attached flyer at your workplace and in businesses around your community is greatly appreciated. Please also feel free to forward this email to your friends and contacts. You never know, you could be the link to reaching Fella’s forever family.

Thank you for any help you are able to provide and for the kindness and compassion you show to animals everyday!
