Austin Mayors Committee, DARS and Goodwill Industries are sponsoring
\nthe annual Austin Employment Expo from 9 to 3 on May 14, 2008 at the
\nPalmer Events Center. There will be a large number of perspective
\nemployers at this event, eagerly waiting for the right applicant (and
\nsome employers will be ready to interview on the spot!),. It is
\nimportant to assure you are dressed for a potential job interview in
\ncase they are interviewed by an employer. There will also be a series
\nof classes on resume writing, interview skills and application
\ncompletion. <\/p>\n
Plan to have DARS technology lab representative with several examples
\nfor consumers and\/or potential employers to test. <\/p>\n
Informational Post Cards are coming soon to facilitate the
\nannouncement of this wonderful activity to your consumers. These
\nshould arrive around the first week of May and will be distributed to
\nthe local Austin offices. <\/p>\n
Please pass the word to anyone who was interested in attending. DARS
\nis providing two interpreters. <\/p>\n
