Essential Job Functions <\/p>\n
Provides social work services to clients and families to include case
\nmanagement, psychosocial and\/or resource needs assessments. Develops
\nclient\/family service plans and monitors progress. Utilizes community
\nresources to assist clients and their families and provides
\nclient\/family education, training and advocacy. Provides brief
\ncounseling and crisis intervention to individuals and\/or their
\nfamilies to increase their ability to overcome and prevent crisis and
\npromote progress toward self-sufficiency and health and well being. <\/p>\n
Qualification Requirements <\/p>\n
Master’s degree in Social Work AND two (2) years social work
\nexperience counseling individuals in crisis\/trauma situations. <\/p>\n
License: <\/p>\n
*Possession of a valid Texas Driver’s License may be required. <\/p>\n
*Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). <\/p>\n
Required: Fluency in sign language. <\/p>\n
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and works some nights and weekends. <\/p>\n
Work site: 2201 Post Road, Austin, Texas<\/p>\n
