Looking for a part time employee who signs – Austin<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mary Lee Foundation, which is a non-profit in South Austin provides services for people with disabilities. One of the people we provide for is deaf and has a developmental disability so we are looking for a female employee to work part time who signs to work with this 21 year old young lady. The hours would be Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoon\/evening 2-3 hours at a time and 1 weekend day for a few hours.<\/p>\n

They would be taking on her activities, getting her involved in the deaf community and teaching her good social and community skills. She loves bowling, swimming, playing games and arts and crafts. She needs help with improving cooking skills and other household tasks.
\nThe other is a 33 year old male who needs someone to work with him during the daytime M-Friday. He likes video games, movies, going to the park, out to eat and shopping.<\/p>\n

The job requirements are being at least 21 years old, valid Texas drivers license and vehicle insurance, good driving record, good criminal history, non-smoker, able to lift without restriction, good writing skills and very patient.<\/p>\n

The pay is $10.00 per hour plus mileage for driving the person on outings.<\/p>\n

Please note that they live in south Austin so ideally, this employee lives south, so they do not have to drive very far to pick them up. This could be one employee or 2. We can reimburse for mileage when you are driving her in your vehicle, but not for a commute to and from the homes.<\/strong><\/p>\n
