Dianna was a graduate of the Arkansas School for the Deaf and attended Gallaudet University. She spent over 40 years in the DFW metroplex and was heavily involved in the deaf community. She is survived by her daughter, Rosanna Appelt, her son-in-law, Byron Appelt, and her only grandson, Isaac Appelt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at 2 pm at Silent Friends Chapel.
