Amarillo College Truck Driving Academy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By Sheryl Proctor<br \/>\nEmail: aproctor@kamr.com<\/p>\n<p>August 8, 2016<\/p>\n<p>Amarillo College graduates its fourth completely deaf student from their truck driving academy.<\/p>\n<p>James Hanson received his certificate today.<\/p>\n<p>He and his case worker searched through several states for a program that helps deaf students.<\/p>\n<p>Disability services at AC has a graduate who&#8217;s completed a two year course in sign language and comes from a truck driving family.<\/p>\n<p>AC officials say their interpreter plays a key role in helping their students succeed.<\/p>\n<p>AC officials say they get more calls and questions about their program since their first graduate in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>They anticipate to have
