Sign Language Interpreter Job posting for Northwest Harris County
\nCooperative for the Hearing Impaired <\/p>\n
Qualifications: <\/p>\n
1. High school diploma or GED equivalency; <\/p>\n
2. Associate’s degree or higher related to Interpreting field or the
\nfield of Deafness preferred; <\/p>\n
3. Certificate in Interpreting issued by either the Board for
\nEvaluation of Interpreters or the Registry of Interpreters for the
\nDeaf; <\/p>\n
4. Experience in working with children <\/p>\n
Terms of Employment: <\/p>\n
Probationary\/Term Contract: 187 days <\/p>\n
Salary: <\/p>\n
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees
\nfor the school year 2008-2009. <\/p>\n
Pay Grade Administrative\/Professional (AP)102 <\/p>\n
Beginning Salary: $27,285 plus stipend <\/p>\n
Level I $2,500, Level II $3,500, Level III $4,500 <\/p>\n
Minimum-$27,285, Midpoint-$34,128, Maximum-$40,970 <\/p>\n
