TSD Dorm supervisor paid student to expose himself<\/p>\n
AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) — A Texas School for the Deaf employee has
\nadmitted to paying a student to expose himself. <\/p>\n
Shane Allan Flournoy, 32, confessed to his minister that he had paid
\na 15-year-old boy to give show him his genitals. Then the former dorm
\nsupervisor turned himself in to Austin Police and repeated that story.<\/p>\n
“He admitted to having an improper relationship with a 15-year-old
\nmale student,” said police Sgt. Richard Stresing. “Mr. Flournoy
\nadmitted to actually touching the student, but the student refused his
\nadvances.” <\/p>\n
Flournoy said he paid the student $200 the first time, but the
\nstudent said he offered to let the dorm supervisor see his private
\nparts if he paid him $1,000. <\/p>\n
Police said they are not sure who to believe. <\/p>\n
Even though investigators said none of the incidents happened at the
\nschool, Flournoy has been fired. <\/p>\n
In a written statement, school officials said a criminal background
\ncheck was conducted on Flournoy when he was hired last May, but he had
\nno criminal history, convictions or arrest. <\/p>\n
The arrest has sparked an interest in the 32-year-old man’s past in
\nHouston. Flournoy said he knew the teen when they both lived in
\nHouston. When the two moved to Austin, that is when Flournoy said he
\nbefriended the teen. <\/p>\n
“We are also working together with the Houston Police Department to
\ninvestigate other allegations whether there are other improper
\nrelationships with Mr. Flournoy and anyone else in Houston,” Stresing
\nsaid. <\/p>\n
Until investigators sort out the incident, Flournoy sits in jail. His
\nbond was set at $250,000. <\/p>\n
Flournoy may face other charges once Houston police wrap up their
\ninvestigation. <\/p>\n
