The recent very successful rally and protest at the Houston City Hall on August 18th has lit a fire for the Houston Deaf community to continue to fight for Deaf rights everywhere. Under the sponsorship of the Capsule Group, our next focus group will be meeting at MMSC (Metropolitan Multi-Service Center)\u00a0located at 1475 West Grey Street, Houston, TX. 77019 at 2pm on September 17, 2016.<\/p>\n

There we will be discussing the many issues that all the Deaf are having a problem with in public. Interpreting services is not the only problem the Deaf feel upset about. Do you as a Deaf person has trouble ordering either at the counter or the drive through of a fast food place? If so, please come and share your experience with our focus group.<\/p>\n

Do you feel discriminated against by the management of your housing project? Then, you should join us and share your complaints. We will provide light snacks and drink for those attending. Please don’t sit on your hands and let others control for life. Come to MMSC and see the many other Deaf that have the same issues as you do and help each of us find a way to solve those issues.<\/p>\n
