This service provides a consumer with personal assistance in daily living activities (e.g., grooming, eating, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene) and functional living tasks. The service includes assistance with:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 planning and preparing meals; transportation or assistance in securing transportation;<br \/>\n\u2022 ambulating and mobility;<br \/>\n\u2022 reinforcement of behavioral support or specialized therapies activities;<br \/>\n\u2022 assistance with medications and the performance of tasks delegated by an RN in accordance with state law; and<br \/>\n\u2022 supervision of the consumer\u2019s safety and security.<\/p>\n<p>WHERE IS RESPITE PROVIDED?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Respite is usually provided in the Consumers home or out in the community.<\/p>\n<p>WHAT IS THE RATE OF PAY?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 $8.50 per hour for 10 or less hours provided in a calendar day<br \/>\n\u2022 $85.00 per day for 10.25 or more hours in a calendar day<\/p>\n<p>WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 High School Diploma or GED<br \/>\n\u2022 Some experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Valid Texas Driver\u2019s License<\/p>\n<p>Contact Lisa Shelby, ATCIC Contract Manager, at lisa.shelby@atcic.org for more information.<\/p>\n<p>Website: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Atcic.org\">http:\/\/www.Atcic.org<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEAF CONTRACTED RESPITE PROVIDERS WANTED Austin Travis County Integral Care is now accepting applications for contracted respite providers for our Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Services Network.
