WITH THE MANY ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS FOR DWA, IT IS NECESSARY TO MAKE A CHANGE FOR THE PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED MEETING OF THE HOUSTON FOCUS GROUP ON DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE DEAF COMMUNITY. UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE CAPSULE GROUP THE NEW DAT AND TIME WILL BE SEPTEMBER 27 AND THE MEETING WILL START AT 10am.<\/p>\n

THE LOCATION REMAINS THE SAME, MMSC (METROPOLITAN MULTI-SERVICE CENTER) LOCATED AT 1475 WEST GREY STREET. AS STATED IN THE PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT POSTING THERE WILL BE DISCUSSIONS COVERINGS MANY AREAS OF DAILY LIFE IN WHICH THE DEAF COMMUNITY HAVE HARDSHIPS AND\/OR DISCRIMINATION AND A SEARCH FOR A SOLUTION. LITE REFRESHMENTS AND DRINKS WILL BE SERVED AT THE MEETING.<\/p>\n

COME TO MMSC AND SHARE WITH US YOUR EXPERIENCES AND SEE HOW OTHERS ARE HAVING SIMILAR EXPERIENCES. WE WANT TO MAKE THE WORLD, STARTING WITH HOUSTON, A BETTER PLACE OF OUR DEAF COMMUNITY.<\/p>\n
