(FedEx Ground), alleging that FedEx Ground violated the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, (the ADA) by discriminating against current and former deaf and hard-of-hearing Package Handlers and applicants for the Package Handler position, including by failing to provide reasonable accommodations.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact the EEOC, through the methods described in this notice, if the following applies to you:<\/p>\n<p>You are deaf or hard-of-hearing, applied for a Package Handler position at any FedEx Ground facility at any point since July 2007, and you believe that FedEx Ground discriminated against you in the hiring process, including by failing to provide you with effective reasonable accommodations, including communications accommodations such as ASL interpreting.<\/p>\n<p>You are deaf or hard-of-hearing, worked as a Package Handler at any FedEx Ground facility at any point since December 2006, and you believe that FedEx Ground discriminated against you by failing to provide you with effective reasonable accommodations, including communications accommodations such as ASL interpreting.<\/p>\n<p>You have any information about any of the claims described above.<\/p>\n<p>You may contact the EEOC about this case by calling (215)-440-2670 (via video relay if American Sign Language is your primary means of communication), or by sending an e-mail to fedexgroundlawsuit@eeoc.gov.
