There is a serious need to fight for the Deaf rights of communication, education, for jobs and many other issues of discrimination. The Deaf community must continue to fight for these rights and the best way to do so is to make the public aware of the issues of discrimination.<\/p>\n

There will be a rally for this expressed purpose on Thursday, October 20th at the Houston City Hall. The location’s address is 901 Bagby Street. Starting at 10 am we will take over the corner intersections and draw attention to ourselves. As many as possible members of the Houston Deaf community are to be there to draw attention to our rights. There is power in numbers and you will want to attend with your friends.<\/p>\n
