Aid the Silent 10\/22\/16 – San Antonio<\/strong><\/p>\n

I wanted to see if you could announce this on the newsletter that you guys put out.<\/p>\n

Aid the Silent, a nonprofit founded by Miss San Antonio 2017 & 2015 Emma Faye Rudkin that caters to deaf\/hard-of-hearing children, is hosting its second annual Aid the Silent 5K walk\/run on October 22, 2016 at the Boerne Main Plaza in Boerne, TX at 8 am.<\/p>\n

Registration is free for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals with valid code. Valid audiogram is required and can be obtained by emailing denise@aidthesilent.com. Register at http:\/\/aidthesilent.com\/5K<\/a>. GN ReSound Linx2 hearing aids will be raffled off at the race, along with several other amazing prizes. Interested persons can purchase tickets online at http:\/\/aidthesilent.com\/5K<\/a> or at the Aid the Silent booth on race day.<\/p>\n

For those who cannot travel to the South Texas location, a virtual run can be done anywhere in the world. Sponsorship of deaf\/HOH runners is also available. A concert from recording artist Ryan Proudfoot will immediately follow the race. Awards, race, and concert will all be captioned and interpreted.<\/p>\n
