REMEMBERING GRADY WILLIAMS JR:
\nOctober 26, 1945 – October 21, 2016<\/p>\n

We are saddened to announce the passing of one of our Deaf community members. Grady Williams Jr and his family was an important part of Deaf Action Center Texas, in the past he also taught classes for DAC. Everyone in Dallas-Fort Worth knew him and his gentle heart. May his legacy continue through the hearts he touched during his time on this earth.<\/p>\n

Friday, October 28, 2016 – wake, which will be held at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home at 7pm-7:45pm. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday, October 29, 2016 – Cedar Crest Church of Christ at 10:30am. There will be a reception afterwards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hi, I\u2019m BL Williams. I\u2019m the last of four of Grady Williams Jr\u2019s children. As many of you know, Grady passed on Friday, October 21st. Our family and close friends are tremendously impacted, saddened, and heartbroken by this loss. At the same time, dad suffered a great deal, and for quite a while, and we did not want that to continue. He is now at peace.<\/p>\n

I also want to extend my gratitude to those who contacted me, my family, and others who were impacted by dad\u2019s passing. That meant a lot. That support has given us strength to carry on as we endure the process of healing.<\/p>\n

The reason why I decided to post this v-log is to inform you all about the funeral services that will be taking place to honor dad. They will be happening this Friday and Saturday. This Friday will be dad\u2019s wake, which will be held at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home at 7pm-7:45pm. As for Saturday, the Dad\u2019s funeral will be held at Cedar Crest Church of Christ at 10:30am. There will be a reception afterwards. Cedar Crest is our \u201cfamily church\u201d as my dad, grandparents, and others attended that church.<\/p>\n

We will also have interpreters for both services. If you are DeafBlind or need other means of access, please feel free to contact me about the services you will need, and I\u2019ll work towards having those services ready.<\/p>\n
