{"id":35059,"date":"2017-02-09T17:32:00","date_gmt":"2017-02-09T23:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deafnetwork.com\/wordpress\/?p=35059"},"modified":"2017-02-09T18:05:52","modified_gmt":"2017-02-10T00:05:52","slug":"job-opportunity-case-service-manager-austin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deafnetwork.com\/wordpress\/blog\/2017\/02\/09\/job-opportunity-case-service-manager-austin\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Opportunity: Case Service Manager &#038; Caregiver- Austin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Case Service Manager\/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional &#8211; Austin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Operations\/Programs Svcs<\/p>\n<p>Posted: February 8, 2017<br \/>\nFull-Time<br \/>\nKyle, TX, United States<\/p>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assess the needs of the persons receiving services through completion of periodic assessments &amp; documentation, such as the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IDRC<\/li>\n<li>Implementation Plan<\/li>\n<li>Bi-monthly IP review<\/li>\n<li>Complete needed IPC revisions<\/li>\n<li>Restraint Risk Assessment<\/li>\n<li>Money Management Assessment<\/li>\n<li>Onsite Inspection<\/li>\n<li>Individual Emergency Evacuation Plan<\/li>\n<li>Financial\/Room &amp; Board Disclosure<\/li>\n<li>Suicide Assessment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Oversee delivery of all HCS and ICF program services in adherence with regulatory principles, and state and federal laws (including HIPPAA Privacy Laws) concerning confidentiality. Monitor to ensure all medical services are provided in accordance with the individual&#8217;s plan of care.<\/p>\n<p>Conduct routine home inspections to report any concerns, including those related to health and safety as well compliance with DADS principles.<\/p>\n<p>Monitor behavior plans for effectiveness &amp; review annually.<\/p>\n<p>Maintain ongoing communication with local, state and federal entities, including but not limited to the Local Authority, guardians, LAR&#8217;s, family members and a wide variety of professionals in the community.<\/p>\n<p>Cooperate and assist, as needed, with clients legal status assessments, including guardianship and advocacy needs.<\/p>\n<p>Monitor trust-fund requests and receipts.<\/p>\n<p>Update and monitor consumer information (BOW).<\/p>\n<p>Review and follow-up on incident reports.<\/p>\n<p>Respond to emergency situations involving individuals on assigned caseload.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Skills<br \/>\nRequired<br \/>\nAmerican Sign Language Advanced<\/p>\n<p><strong>Behaviors<\/strong><br \/>\nPreferred<br \/>\nTeam Player: Works well as a member of a group<br \/>\nDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well<\/p>\n<p><strong>Motivations<\/strong><br \/>\nRequired<br \/>\nSelf-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><br \/>\nRequired<br \/>\nBachelors or better.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><br \/>\nRequired<br \/>\nTwo years experience serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Licenses &amp;
