Meet the Author Jim Kennedy & Buy Book\u00a0about Deaf Child at TSD – Austin<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be a book signing on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at a local deaf owned restaurant as a fundraiser for the Texas School for the Deaf. The Discerning God’s Purpose book is written by a TSD parent regarding the journey of a family with a child with Special Needs.<\/p>\n

It chronicles the journey from a baby born 3 months premature, who is deaf and has cerebral palsy, yet is still able to attend a regular academic program, is able to participate in extracurricular activities, and is able to maintain a high B average and is preparing to attend college after graduating in 2018.<\/p>\n
