RIT\/NTID sponsors national art competition for deaf, hard-of-hearing high school students<\/strong><\/p>\n

National contest winners vie for cash prizes, art exhibit featuring their work<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rochester Institute of Technology\u2019s National Technical Institute for the Deaf announces the annual Digital Arts, Film and Animation Competition for high school students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. Students in grades 9 through 12 will compete for a $250 cash prize, and the winners\u2019 work will be exhibited in RIT\/NTID\u2019s Joseph F. and Helen C. Dyer Arts Center and on the college website.\u00a0https:\/\/www.rit.edu\/ntid\/dyerarts\/<\/a><\/p>\n

The national competition recognizes students\u2019 artistic expression with awards in film, graphic media, interactive media, photo imaging, 3-D animation and webpage design. See the competition website for previous winners in these categories.<\/p>\n

Students may submit up to two entries. Online entry forms, contest rules and other details are available at http:\/\/www.rit.edu\/ntid\/dafac\/<\/a>. The submission deadline is March 1, 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n
