\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule Coordinator (Full-Time)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>REPORTS TO: Executive Director for Salary, Interpreting Department Manager for Direct Supervision<\/p>\n<p>HOURS: 8:00am- 4:30pm, including additional hours as needed<\/p>\n<p>BASIC FUNCTION: The position of the Schedule Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the completion of all sign language interpreter requests.<\/p>\n<p>LOCATION: Dallas, Texas<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES\/TASKS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Coordinate multiple interpreter requests in a face-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize technology and computers to handle interpreter requests.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and controlling all incoming requests and outgoing confirmations.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and maintenance of scheduling documentation with precision and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with businesses, vendors, contract interpreters and Deaf\/hard of hearing consumers locally.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with relevant and applicable guidelines (RID\u2019s CPC), regulations and mandates.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain compliance to DAC\u2019s core mission, values, policies, procedures and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain utmost confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to develop and maintain strong working relations with co-workers, vendors and community members.<\/li>\n<li>Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings\/workshops, and conferences as required.<\/li>\n<li>Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent work ethics, which include consistence attendance, timeliness and completion of assignments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>POSITION EXPERIENCE &amp; ABILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Comfortable scheduling behind a computer<\/li>\n<li>Professional video phone or phone etiquette<\/li>\n<li>Excellent expressive and receptive skills in American Sign Language<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of and respect for clientele and Deaf culture<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience working with the public<\/li>\n<li>Requires commitment to the highest ethical principles and values both professionally and personally.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Timeliness in completing task<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Advance computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle multiple incoming calls and assignments<\/li>\n<li>Not afraid of confrontation<\/li>\n<li>Can resolve or remedy confrontations that may occur with our customers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>POSITION CRITICAL
