Fewell wins HBCD 5th Annual Bass Invitational Tournament<\/strong><\/p>\n

DATE: February 24-25, 2017<\/p>\n

Larry Fewell (Houston, TX) captured the Champion and Lunker awards at the Houston Bass Club of the Deaf, Inc. 5th Annual Bass Tournament which was held on February 24-25, 2017 at Sam Rayburn Lake near Jasper, TX. These two days tournament with a combine of other FLW Tournament involved highlights tough challenges ahead with hundreds of other bass anglers on the lake. Fewell hauled in a total of 8 basses weighing in at 20.82 lbs for the two day tournament. Fewell won the Lunker award as well but failed to win the Lunker prize of $700.00 as he has not met the 6lbs weigh in. With a 20\u201d bass in length and 5.92 lbs makes him the winner! Congratulations!<\/p>\n

Mike Clifton (Houston, TX) was awarded 2nd place for 1 bass at a 19\u201d in length and 5.05 lbs at the weigh-in. Bertin Smith (Kentwood, LA.) came in 3rd Place with 1 bass at 16\u201d in length and 1.15lbs. Congratulation on both of them.<\/p>\n

All award winners received money prizes for their winning recognition except the Lunker which has not met over the 6lbs requirement.<\/p>\n

Joe Radwanski was recognized the Sportsmanship Award for his outstanding efforts during the two days event.<\/p>\n

Other bass anglers involved caught basses but were not over the required minimum length.<\/p>\n
