An Evening with Sean Berdy is an inspirational and humorous journey through Sean’s life. Guests at the event will also be treated to a very special musical performance by Sean!<\/p>\n

Sean, best known for his portrayal of the “Deaf James Dean” character, Emmett, on “Switched at Birth,” delivers motivational speeches across the country for a multitude of events. Sean uses charisma, warmth and humor to inspire audiences by using his own compelling life story as an example of what one can achieve if they set aside limitations and never stop believing in themselves.<\/p>\n

Fans of Sean\u2019s music videos will also be very happy to know he will be performing one of his favorite songs at the event. Following Sean\u2019s inspirational presentation and musical performance, he will open the floor to questions and then close the evening with an opportunity to personally say hello and perhaps snap a fun picture or two.<\/p>\n

For our hearing attendees who may not yet be fully fluent in ASL, an interpreter will be on hand for Sean’s presentation, Q&A, and Meet & Greet.<\/p>\n

“An Evening with Sean Berdy” is part of Sean’s “ASL Champions Tour.” Net proceeds for the event will be shared with this event’s ASL Champion and gracious host, Austin Community College’s ASL Friends United (AFU).<\/p>\n
