Alan Love <\/p>\n
ALAN LOVE passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008. Alan was born August
\n28, 1947 to Pauline Gross Love and Roy Love. He attended Central
\nInstitute for the Deaf in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from
\nBellaire High School and West Texas State University. He formerly
\nserved on the Board of the Houston School for the Deaf, which is now
\nthe Center for Hearing and Speech. He has also served on the National
\nBoard of the Alexander Graham Bell Foundation. <\/p>\n
He is survived by his aunt, Florence Gross, and by cousins, Jack
\nHelfman, Bill Helfman, Larry Gross, Steven Gross, and Carol Wilk, as
\nwell as his dearest friends, C.E. Cantrell, Helen Salmon, and Michael
\nMontand. The funeral will take place at the Beth Yeshurun Cemetery on
\nAllen Parkway, Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of
\nflower donations, please make a donation in Allen’s memory to Central
\nInstitute for the Deaf, 828 South Taylor Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri,
\n63110 or to the Center for Hearing and Speech, 3636 West Dallas,
\nHouston, Texas, 77019. <\/p>\n
